Appearance: She has long flame red hair then reaches the middle of her thighs though she often has it is often tied back in a high ponytail. The shorter strands frame her pale face, her fringe is often swept to the side so isn’t in her face though when it is it frames her eyes, not covering them. She has thin and sharp eyebrows above her pale lavender eyes that are viewed as cold until the time is taken to look deeper, when you do they are soft, gently, welcoming and loving if you look deeper still. Valentine has a nose that fits her face perfectly, she has pale kissable lips that unless she’s in battle is curved into a friendly smile though in battle she either has a dark look that covers her whole face or her face is emotionless unless she is just playing in which case she will smile. She has an innocent face that makes people refer to her as an angel though this is a mere illusion or so she says.
Valentine has a slender though not a twig figure, it is more of a curvy figure, that makes her appear weak though she is anything but. She has slender arms and a delicate hands. The skin of her hands is silky soft due to the fact that she has worm gloves since she was 5. She has a scar upon her hand in the shape of a rose though she doesn’t remember how she got it, she’s worn gloves ever since unless she is alone. She has long slender legs that are usually uncovered because of her skirt or dress. She always wears boots that go a few inches about her ankles.
Her most commonly seen outfit is a tight fitted halter neck dress that splits down the sides with two separate bits of material that falls down the sides of her dress to make her legs less exposed. The dress itself is black with a white pattern on it. Her right arm is coved by a black glove that goes past her elbows while on her left hand is just an ordinary black glove. A katana hangs at her waist.
History: Valentine was born to a Sensei and an ANBU during a passionate one night stand, they split up, neither were aware that Maria (her mother) was pregnant for a second time. They’d split up after having the twins but in the end got drunk and slept together again. When she did find out she was terrified, would she be fit to be a mother? Could she be a mother? So many questions ran through her head though very few made sense to her, she knew one thing. Nothing would ever happen to her beautiful baby girl. Maria and Morgan (father) got back together after realising they still loved on another.
When she was 4 she started her training, her father although wanted to make sure she wouldn't have any harm come to her so he had her training her with swords, daggers and any other bladed weapons he could think so that she could defend herself, what he didn't know was that she was a natural when it came down to it. She trained with her brothers mostly and occasionally her mother who also took to teaching her little bits and pieces here and there.
Her studies in other matter were less intense but she still took the lessons, learned everything she could, knowing full and well that someday she would need to be able to use knowledge as well as being able to fight. That day came when she was 13, she'd grown up a lot and was very mature for her young age but growing up with her father nothing more could be expected. When she was 13 she was ' attacked ' by ninjas and was able to keep them at bay until her brothers came to her aid alone with their parents.
Everyone thought that Valentine was happy but deep down she longed for something that only someone outside the family could truly give her. When Valentine confided in Aden it became clear she was suffering mental. She longed for something she'd never had and wished for more than anything else. Love. The great experience that could lighten up even the coldest and darkest of hearts. Aden could only smile at his niece as he said the nicest words she ever had said to her. " Any guy who didn't want to be with you must be blind or crazy."
She spent most of her time with Arcadian and Aden (older twin brothers), sparring or reading or anything else she wanted to do. They was her best friends though they were older. Maria couldn't help but delight in this fact, she wasn’t as good at fighting as her husband unlike her daughter who was starting to rival him but she got joy from merely watching them. Her daughter was something else.....something dark, beautiful and deadly hiding in the form of a young girl.
When Valentine was 15 she lost her life, not in the literal sense but she felt as if her life was being taken from her, her mother died in her arms after sending Aden and Arcadian away while she held the ninjas back that were after the family. Valentine was dragged away by Aden and Arcadian, they was her guardian now and they wouldn’t see any harm come to her.
They soon learnt their father was also dead, they were alone with only each other for company. Valentine got over her depression finally and joined the academy, hoping to make new friends after losing most in her depression. She was easy to get along with so that wouldn’t be too hard for her, her life was finally turning around.
