Possible tarvel bug

I ran into 3 consecutive fights trying to go from fire country to wind country.  It doesn't seem like a bug but, could it hurt to look?

That happened to me, too! I had to use my items and chakra. But, this happens normally.

About one in every 150 travels will result in a three branch fight.

If you're lucky you'll get 5 fights. I love them, best way to get extra XP without spending Forest Fights.
