now as i said in title i know its been discussed before but those are locked and i wanna  put in my oppinion about them

1. they shouldnt be given as a good or bad thing.
2.i heard neji might be putting them as a kekki genkai (sorry i spelled it wrong) i dont believe they should be because although its powerful it isnt a kekki genkai.it shouldnt be somethign you get threw a random event (i cant say much because of spoilers and what not) so neji to discuss this more send me a message ide liek to talk to you on this matter

3. weve seen what they can do in the show, they kick major but so its no doubt that getting it should be very hard and the consiquences showed be very drastic. ide say the consiquences but as i said its sort of a spoiler kinda thing so i ahve to talk to neji.

all im saying is they shouldnt be treated as a kekki genkai and it should be somethign threw a random event that has drastic consiquences and very hard to get. neji ide like to talk to you on this mater along with other things.

i heard it was  or at leats thats what i read, i think it should be in some huge long special event like we only saw him open 5 so you can get the event but a it be had to get and each time you get one you wait a while then you get the next and so on but at the cost of hp or something yea know like mayeb after its done (if your not dead) then your attack and defence are like -100 or something

Wait and see it Neji has experience in these things so put a little faith in him...-100 attack? my attack would be like 1 then and for acads theyd have - attacks...

Like Kakashi mentioned about Lee when he got to the 4th Gate "that is not something that can be done with training alone, he must be some kind of genius" ...

and a constant work, for *years* since being little is what you need, I say it is the same like being born with an extraordinary ability you have to train constantly alike.

Also, for balance purposes, it's about right.

as much as that may be true rock lee works hard for it he dide the first 5 threw shear power. he wasnt born with it he worked hard for it and gai taught him. ya know?

and about the -100 atatck person (sorry lol) well he couldnt move he couldnt do anything lol.

When Kakashi said that, I think he was just complimenting Lee since Lee is a "dropout".

Being a genius doesn't mean one has kekkei genkai, but that they have talent.
Like Orochimaru or Minato.
I don't think they had kekkei genkai, but are considered geniuses.

Since the eight gates are so powerful and require years of training, You want to group this with a loose definition of kekkei genkai?
I'd rather see the eight gates done in a similar fashion as rasengan because it is something most people can train for.

Or this should be grouped with jutsus like puppets, shadow bind, chakra bugs, etc.
Unless those are being grouped along with kekkei genkai?

We've only seen the gates opened up to six.
We can find out releasing what limiters increases what, but we haven't seen the eight gates in action much.

What I mean is Neji can figure out what happens to our stats when opening how many gates, but I don't think there will be many techniques to go along with the eight gates.
We have the two lotuses and the Morning Peacock.

But also, years of training, right, BUT ... I see Sharingan boobies with Hachimon Tonkou, and then ... well... how can you train your Sharingan AND your ability for the gates? Due to strategic reasons, and sanity ones, it can't work together...

Also, the price is higher than just to *work* for it =)

TenTen's stuff, i.e., can be done with work, no big deal. But for Lee, it is much much more work involved. No time for anything else, not even jutsus...

and don't get me wrong about kekkei genkai... it's not "push button" -> "ok, open up all gates now...."
