i dont get it..level questions..

okay..well, i was a lvl 15 genin and i killed orichmaru..well, it seemed like i started all over..but as a genin again..is this correct? if so, could you give me some suggestions on what to do to get a higher rank? thanks.

You have kill kill Orochimaru a certain ammount of times before becoming Chuunin. That's all I'll say :)
