New site villages
« on: May 06, 2012, 01:29:20 AM »

So, I was wondering what villages are being added/subtracted with the new update. What' I've heard is that; Kumo, Iwa, Ame are being added and Oto is being subtracted. Is that it?

The Land of Iron will be replacing Ninja Central, and I think Otogakure will become the new 'Iwagakure'.

Ninja Central will still be on the map, just not where it was. Also I've heard that Oto was becoming 'Iwa', but I haven't seen any evidence to assure that it's true.

Quoted from http://forum.shinobilegends.com/index.php/topic,6859.0.html:
Otogakure split into Kumogakure and Iwagakure as playable races.

Reasoning: Kumo and Iwa make up the remaining five great shinobi races, and in my opinion, should be available to playable races.

Iwagakure becomes Otogakure

Reasoning: Otogakure isn't a real village, and frankly, not many people go for it anymore. This way it is still there, and those who still want to claim some kind of Sound allegiance have the opportunity to be there, just not as a playable race.

Hoshigakure becomes Amegakure

Reasoning: Hoshi is just a filler village, where as Ame is a real village, is very hard to get into due to years of civil war (explains why you can't get there until Sannin).

Nin Central becomes Land of Iron

Reasoning: Again, Nin Central isn't a real village, whereas the Land of Iron would make a good neutral 'village' as it has no ties with the Shinobi world in general.

Also, I disagree about making Jyuubi replace Oro, as it doesn't exist any more, The Sage split it AGES ago.
If anything, I think Pein or Tobi could replace Oro.

Also, any Sound nin will most likely as said, have their race set to missing nin, then they can choose a new race at the newday.
Also the shops in all villages may be moved around, some new ones, etc etc.

That was what Pete suggested.

This should do:

Okay, so here's a hot topic of late, changing the villages of SL. So lets have a discussion about it.
I've had some ideas about how I think the villages should be, so I'm going to share them, then ask for everyone else opinions.

So first, Kirigakure, Konohagakure, and Sunagakure all stay basically the same.

The current Otogakure be split into two new playable villages, Iwagakure and Kumogakure.
New shops, images, and descriptions would be needed for these, as well as other things.

Nin Central becomes The land of Iron, Tetsu no Kuni.
Basically everything in the village could stay the same, just change the image and description.

Hoshigakure stays the same, or could be renamed Amegakure.
Hoshi is just a filler village, whereas Ame is where Pein and Akatsuki are based, and are just as 'secret' in the series.

The current Iwagakure could become Otogakure.
People love Oto, but it's not a 'real' village persay, and it makes sense to have it like the current Iwa to me.

Generalization:
Konoha, Kiri and Suna remain untouched.
Hoshi becomes Ame.
Ninja Central becomes the Land of Iron.
Iwa becomes Oto.
Iwa and Kumo are added in as major villages.

Straight from the shinobi beta:
Jiseigakure, the stronghold of Neutrality.
All around you, the people of Jiseigakure move about their business. No one seems to pay much attention to you as they all seem absorbed in their own lives and problems. Along various streets you see many different types of shops, each with a sign out front proclaiming the business done therein. Off to one side, you see a very curious looking rock which attracts your eye with its strange shape and color. People are constantly entering and leaving via the city gates to a variety of destinations.

This is a neutral place to meet for all shinobi. Violence within the city is forbidden and will be enforced by Black Dragon ANBU, who are known to make anybodies life much more miserable...

The beta already has the villagers there. Oto has become Iwa, Kumo is new, Ninja Central is, as Rare stated, Jesigakure, and I can't say for Amegakure.

Strangely there is no such village as 'Jiseigakure' in the Naruverse...

True, they simply didn't want to ruin the village system by adding a country.
