Its possible, Legend of Bleach has it for all the villages I believe.

Whether it'd actually work and stop people from posting OOC at IC board...I heavily doubt it.

If you enforce it it would. We have enough active mods to do such. Clear out if you post OOC in the rp place you get a mute and repeat offenders get a ban.

Well Neji owns both, right? So he already has access to the coding.

I'm not sure. I think Phantom and Neji are two different people. Although Neji may be the owner and Phantom just run it so to say. Not fully sure.

Neji own both sites therefore has access to the code that LoB is using for the OOC chat switch. We should ask him to use it on SL.

I can, at the very least, confirm that Neji is aware of the existence of this thread.

I wouldn't expect Sir Neji to implant such a thing in a short time. Nor would I think that anyone else should think of him to do such things either. I simply wanted to bring it forth to his attention that it may be a good update to the site to keep in mind for when he does go to add new things perhaps.

This may sound good on paper ,but was Neji working on a mobile template.  Wouldn't that require extra coding to make it work for that too.

It depends on how you think of that. The IC/OOC option for public boards will be a change to the actual coding of the game running from the server. Templates just change how you view that code. It's like thinking of the game as a picture you're looking at, which continues to be modified by the artist drawing it (Nejiver), and the templates for the game are a pair of glasses you're looking through. Neji/Oliver can change the picture and it will stay however he painted it no matter which glasses you're wearing. In the case of the mobile template, it's like a pair of glass that is still being constructed. Code still has to be written for the mobile template, so yes, more coding has to be done, but none explicitly as the result of implementing an IC/OOC feature.

As Kirk asked, what about this feature?
Just making it active again so it gets noticed.
