Well my display pic and sig are simple, both made by yours truly and in Adobe PS CS6.

I'll rate them both 10 though, just because I can

you hover over profile and a drop down menu pops up....

choose forum profile...

scroll down to the text box that says signature...

you can put stuff n there like you do a post...hot links to all sorts of things. or write your own stuff.

we used to on another forum, use the signature to create a link to our character bio pages.

I am pretty sure you can link a moving gif with the image tags. Therefore, if you can do that on the forum and the signature, if you know how to link a gif on the forum, then you know how to link one in your profile signature as well.



*P.S

Going through the process twice, I would like to add that the image tags are img /img (each of course being enclosed in its own brackets) with the URL of the picture between the two. The signature change page may not have the option to just click the picture icon, so that should help.

Avatar is low resolution. Signature is too large and uses a .gif, which is an inferior form of moving image. Also, said .gif appears, from the art style, to be from My Little Pony.

Total, 2/10, would not view again.

Your display pic: Simple but nice,  proper dimensions too 6/10

I think it is rather nice. Ichi. The scenary in the back can be viewed while the action is going on without activating motion sickness. which is a big plus in my book.

I did not notice loading time lagg though. I think after a while these things bogg page loading down.

I don't know cause it loads just fine for me, do you use internet explorer?

Loading a bunch of moving gifs does in fact increase loading times, though how much depends on internet connection, speed, browser, browser settings, etc.

In part, the signature was for demonstrative purposes, but I think I will keep it for a small while. You are correct in that it is from mlp, and spot on in that my avatar's resolution leaves much to be desired.

2/10 is not bad, considering that gif was the second one I have chosen ever for the SLS forum signature.
