Does previous mastery carry over? (vote)
« on: February 24, 2017, 01:32:29 AM »

Are players permitted to skip the mastery process of a tailed beast for a character that has previously been jinchurikii of said beast and had mastered during that time as host? Or are players required to send that character through a truncated mastery process? Or, are players required to have said character go through the entire mastery process a second time in order to attain mastery of the beast?

Once mastered forever mastered: 2

Less time required for proving worth: 8

Credits not transferred, remastery required: 0

This vote will continue until 3/2/2017.

If proven to have previous mastery, then yes

If no proof, then no. Remaster.

I'd vote in favor of the character getting a reduced or permanent mastery. Not the player, though.

Without much to go off in the canon, I'd say an expedited mastery for the character is fair.

I would have to say less time. A bijuu was under a different master then the old master would have to prove themselves to be stronger than the old master.

That's a good point, the discount possibility should be for characters that hosted not any character the player controls. Let me reword that and then yall can vote again or say that your mind is unchanged.

If you mastered it you don't have to again, otherwise start over.

I'd say less time required for worth. Power lifting for instance. If I take a break from lifting, I need my body to get back up to speed. I can't do my max if I've been out of the game for a few weeks. I gotta build back up to it. Doesn't take anywhere near as long as it initially did however.

If only Gaara was shown getting Shukaku back we might have an idea on how Kishimoto wanted it.

Mastery is 15 weeks in case someone didn't know. No matter the number of tails.

I say at the least allow someone who previously mastered the bijuu to cut the time in half. 7 1/2 weeks or just 7.

I agree with Thaifooddood here. Even though in SL everyone is at 100x max power all day everyday even if they had a leg cut off.

I am going to have to agree with this suggestion right here. :D

I vote for a reduced mastery time for the character if the player can prove said character had prior mastery before via 'trust worthy' sources which the council themselves would have to decide if the people who vouched for authenticity were 'trustworthy' or not.

Cutting the time by half might be appropriate. But assuming it's a reduced timer, I'm guessing that in itself would be another discussion.
