Bulletin Board / Re: Timeline
« on: February 12, 2015, 08:08:31 PM »
I've got some stuff. They are mostly Kiri related, and stuff I have archived. So, a lot of it has to do with me specifically.

Jan 10th, 2011; The Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, with the permission of Mizukage Ranketsu, begin preparations for an invasion of Konoha. The invasion's intentions changed over the course of a few days, ranging from kidnapping Makoto to killing Tommi.
Jan 13th, 2011; Mioku, Isaribi, and Cmage aerially invaded Konoha. They found both Makoto and Tommi to be "on vacation" in Otogakure. They razed the village.
Jan 18th, 2011: Godaime Mizukage Ranketsu and Tommi meet. Ranketsu attempts to subdue Tommi, who is able to escape.

Jan 20th, 2011: By this date, Tommi has retired as Kage and Dizzy is the initial nominee (he is, for whatever reason, omitted from Konoha's "transitionary Kage" list). Ranketsu orders a ceasefire against Konoha momentarily. Tommi is shortly thereafter "resurrected" with the Rinnegan in some plot contrived between Dizzy and Zenaku.
Jan 25th, 2011: The deals between Zenaku and Dizzy allow Kumogakure the first crack at Hachibi, which initiates Kumo's collection of the bijuu.
Jan 27th, 2011: Zeromi takes Dizzy's place as possible Kage. Eventually this runs to Shiizuki, and then to Yumei.
Late 2007 - Isaribi becomes Jinchuuriki of Sanbi for the first time.
July 22nd, 2009 - Isaribi is challenged by Kamui for Sanbi. Kamui wins. Sanbi is given to Ranketsu.

March 30th, 2010 - Cmage gives Samehada to Isaribi.
Jan 10th, 2012 - Isaribi is assaulted by Bocchiere for Samehada. Isaribi is recovered by Ranketsu, who trades Isaribi's weapon, Samehada, to him for a set of eyes.
August 2014 - Mioku returns Samehada to Isaribi.

Bijuu Arena / Re: Bijuu Challenge Preferences and Challenge listings
« on: February 01, 2015, 01:13:24 AM »
inchūriki: Kimura Isaribi

Affiliation: Kirigakure

Preferred Method(s): OOC 1v1 ; IC 1v1 hunt

Preferred Zone: Wetlands. Also Kirigakure. Also dwellings with specified terrains.

Preferred Judges: GMs, particularly Kamui, Zimzamboo/Levi, or Rinoa; exceptions apply

Preferred Outlet: SL PMs, SL RP boards

Challenger List: Batou

Special rules
-First, talk to me like a normal human being. I reserve the right to alter any of my preferences above or add to/change/omit any of my rules below on a case-by-case basis.

-The match is to be 1v1 unless otherwise specified.

-In OOC, victory for the challenger is constituted by the non-fatal incapacitation of the jinchuuriki. i.e. Killing me OOC will not constitute a victory for the challenger. This is because, OOC, it doesn't make sense for the Bijuu to roam, whereas if you kill me and claim the bijuu, it doesn't make sense with the canon.

-Skills, knowledge, or anything otherwise perceived or acquired during an OOC match are not carried over to IC. Similarly, knowledge of participants' abilities do NOT carry over to IC RP.

-If you are inactive in the fight for more than seven days (seven days from the timestamp of my last post will be how I judge this; if there are multiple combatants, it will be by the timestamp of the combatant just before you) I will drop you from the fight. If there are multiple combatants, you will be dropped and your comrades will continue without you; if 1v1, the fight will end in your loss, and I will be more than willing to resume if given a reason for the absence within two weeks, and will accept a new challenge from you if beyond this two week period (unless it is clear that you were absent in order to begin a new fight; i.e. you were clearly losing according to the judge.)

-Likewise, if a pattern begins where you are taking six days and then posting, or other long periods of time, I'll also drop you from the fight.

-I reserve the right to a fourteen day period; I won't use it in active fights, for I will be posting daily if able, but in the event something happens I reserve the right to such.

-In the event of a stalemate, i.e. the battle has progressed smoothly for a 30 day period and a clear end is not within sight, the challenger will rejoin the challenge list and a new fight will be scheduled as if I had fled the battle.

-Does not prefer the forum. I don't like using the thing. If you request it, I may choose to oblige.

-Decided judge will remain judge throughout. No boots. Sometimes multiple judges will be asked for; I'll start with one, and if more are needed, then we'll recruit more.

-If I, a judge, or the challenger sees an issue with the post, the issue is able to be redone so as to fix the issue, but not to fix the intent of the post. i.e. Reposts are only to fix the issue brought up; modifying the entire post to save yourself or completely change up strategy is an automatic disqualification from the match.

-If on the forum, edits are NOT allowed. An edited post is an automatic disqualifaction. A brand new "Reply" must be made so there is a full history of the entire fight for judge and other readers.

-Can only use skills that are known IC at the official start of the match. No borrowing from others. No immediate power ups within the match.

-Discussion of non-allowed techniques will vary by challenger and discussed via PM, only. Common techniques I'll be against are Jikukan (Hiraishin no Jutsu, Kamui, etc), Swift Release, Instant Healing, the New Rikudou techs, Yin or Yang Release, and Bijuu Controlling Techniques--we can talk about these if there are questions, and if done well I am willing to budge. I am also usually against fighting an Edo Tensei simply because I think the concept is dumb and overdone on SL, but we can talk about that.

-Inflammatory, racial, harassing, or abusive language aimed at each other either in the match or in PM will result in an immediate void of the challenge. If challenger and persistent, (s)he loses all rights to ever challenge the current jinchūriki. If its me, talk to me about it rationally.

-Concerning the rule above. If someone tries to challenge me and, before the fight even starts they are being abusive... Consider that a viable reason to not fight you. Proof you are being abusive will be on me.

-In the event that a host is defeated, the new host has the cooldown challenge period timeframe to either accept the special regulations for the tailed beast or completely re-write or alter the special rules. If they do not post their own variant by the beginning of the next challenge, then it is to be assumed that they comply with the previous special regulations.

-If host defeated, allow host to finish up any roleplay that may involve having the beast. Then a reasonable RP will be concluded as to how the beast transferred hands.

-All measurement units to be used in U.S. Customary Units. (I.E. No meters, grams, etc. Use feet, pounds, Fahrenheit, etc.)

-Know your own limits, guys.

  • Don't come at me thinking you have as much chakra as I do unless there is a REALLY GOOD reason that you do.
  • Also, realize that brain cells begin to die after one minute without oxygen (you also lose consciousness after about a minute), brain damage occurs after three minutes, serious (unlikely to ever recover; also death) brain damage occurs after ten minutes, and after fifteen you are almost certainly dead.
    • You were more likely than not unconscious after the first minute.
    • You use more oxygen when you are moving; a human can't swim, run, fight for more than a minute without a way to breath.

-Know my limits.

  • I'm a jinchuuriki. I have a lot of chakra.
  • I have gills.

Assuming Isaribi uses the the Three Tails for him to pick up on its chakra.
To have that much insight he would probably need to train a lot and then maybe need senjutsu to sense the bijuu. The odds of him even finding Isa within the village would be slim unless he was Madara. The Byakugan has more insight then the Sharingan but it doesn't let you sense chakra. You might be able to see something different about someone's chakra but for all you know they may be under a genjustu. Also there is not only the jinchuriki within the village, you would have to find all the odd looking chakra's and verify them.
If the jinchurikii can be sensed, noticed with the sharingan, or even felt while the host is passively just loitering about in SL, then I see no reason for the byakugan not to be able to do so either. If none of those are sufficient for identifying a jinchurikii in passive state, then fair enough, it'll be down for the record.

Aside from any notions where the Sharingan is actually being used to subdue a jinchuuriki once it has already been identified, I don't recall any evidence of the Sharingan being able to distinguish between passive jinchuuriki from any random person.

The big issue with it is, in the manga, the jinchuuriki are all pretty famous for various reasons. The argument could be made that I am famous as Isaribi, I'd rather not make that argument, but I don't see the argument being that that I am famous for being a jinchuuriki--I've had relatively little foreign contact.

If Ichirou wants to go about finding me, same goes for Masane or Madara or any previous future challengers, all they have to do is talk to me. I'll post a rules page, assuming I can find it, when I've got a moment later. Right now, I have to go to a class.

A few things.

1) Within a fortnight of the creation of this board message, I had RPd in Kirigakure by aiding in the departure of a subordinate; we RPd his departure for Suna, and he has been circling it to ensure the safety of the Kage. This can be confirmed by Gitsune and Xiarawst, who saw the presence of said subordinate.
2) I just posted an RP again in Kirigakure.
3) If I were to be stripped, the bijuu would go to Kirigakure no Sato; I was not in any active challenges. Yujo's instance was decidedly different, which you can easily see by going to that link.
4) Not a single person has commented for stripping me who does not have something to gain by stripping me.
5) Ichirou got his first challenge OOC; he has no legitimate knowledge of me in-game. He came to Kirigakure IC a while back, metagamed knowing my name to look for me, and while he was there apparently saw a jinchuuriki with his byakugan. This RP he did on his own. First, The Byakugan wasn't able to identify Naruto as a Jinchuuriki in the initial fight between Neji and Naruto; I cannot remember any more recent instances where the Byakugan could see a Jinchuuriki, to be honest, though it is possible my memory fails me. Second, there was no evidence he ever gained knowledge of my name and currently he cannot provide any evidence. Third, even if the first and second points were invalidated, it is not logically correct to assume, "I am looking for Isaribi. I don't know what he looks like. I see a Jinchuuriki! Isaribi must be the Jinchuuriki." *to clarify the OOC thing, I did make the stipulation, as I always do in OOC, that OOC information cannot be used for IC knowledge UNLESS the person wins the fight against me. Which he did not.
6) As far as their challenges go, I didn't get the memo on the "can't deny" thing. I've already sent out acceptance of the challenges provided they terms are agreed to.
7) This has been a huge ad hominem with very little evidence against me. Give me evidence where I neglected any one of you, and we'll talk then. I get online very frequently to check my mail; usually every other day. If school gets in my way, and the majority of people who know anything about me know I am busy in school, then I let someone know--Usually Dart, Gitsune, or Xiarawst. Regardless, I DID RP within a fortnight of each other, and I have testimony to prove it.

So hop off.

5
I sent you a link to the forum topic but it was already locked, remember? It was pretty much unanimous decision that there is no denying of challengers so if you and xia and dart all get on now to disagree with it itd be something like three against seven or eight. We could take another poll and encourage everyone to speak in it but I don't think that would go in your favor considering the last one.

I'm confused. There are nine jinchuuriki, ergo nine votes who matter. And we weren't even afforded the opportunity to even speak on the matter.

6
Is anyone seeing that the only argument for inactivity they have to offer is that their home village is 'busy'? As far as I am aware there is an entire ninja world out there to explore, just because you resign yourself to only Rp'ing with your clan mates does not justify not rp'ing anywhere else.

I, as Isaribi, have been here for nearly a decade. I'm a jinchuuriki, who is constantly told to stay in Kiri by people above me, or people concerned for my safety. Currently, I'm one of a small handful of RPers currently in Kiri. I can certainly post roaming around the village, but to leave the village would be to break orders, and therefore to break the character of Isaribi. Don't try to character-control me; I RP in Kiri, that is my character, and whenever Kirigakure tells me to go elsewhere I do.

And all that information may be here, but I am an RPer on Shinobilegends.com. Not this forum. This forum isn't the community, SL is. If something is happening that concerns me, I ought to be informed. This forum is vast, and I don't check it unless informed to do so.

I DO RP BY MYSELF ALOT. And I'm honestly tired of it.

Regardless of all this, I've been on SL today. I have an RP planned; perhaps I'll go post a mini-RP now to shut you up.

7
The issue is that I believe it was decided there is no denying challengers  anymore. You must fight everyone who challenges and not liking their rp style will likely not be agreed to be a reason not to.

When was I going to be informed? Also, when was my vote on this matter going to be taken?

And Madara, I've been in this position WRONGLY several times. You don't know what is going on. Read what Xia just said.

Once Sabu's thing fell through, the big RP we had planned had to be halted, and then everyone left Kiri on their own RPs. I'm sorry, but I can only RP by myself so many times before I look odd. I am planning something soon, and you can crash it if you really have a problem. It isn't MY fault that RP in Kiri has been tied up because people had to leave in several directions. I even kept trying to ask if I could go to Suna, but was told other people ought to go in my stead.

EDIT; if it makes you happy, I can certainly post a small RP by myself. But I can't post anything big until people come back from all the other stuff they've got going on. Sorry, but I don't see me just roaming Kirigakure as being particularly pertinent to anything, whereas whenever something big happens I'm always one of the first to jump in on it.

Bijuu Arena / Re: Here's another one of these topics.
« on: January 27, 2015, 01:42:08 AM »
Okay, look.

I denied Ichirou for reasons pertaining to god-modding, and bad god-modding at that. I do not think he has changed his ways, and am not willing to undergo the headache to find out until he can prove to me that he has.

Once again, y'all are ridiculous. I'm active, and always have been active. There have been a couple of times where I've hit a few day span where I haven't been on my main, and that is because of school or RL issues. However, I am usually good about getting online and answering my mail in the least. Currently, too, I am in the works of a big RP though am waiting for people to get unlocked from RPs elsewhere before I start.

Also, Kay, it has been once. By Bocchiere. Because Ranketsu screwed me. If you want to think I don't RP, you are a blatant liar.

9
Okay guys, this is getting ridiculous.
I am active. I've been getting online relatively frequently, and I've been talking in the secret halls of Kiri concerning the Nibi. Right now, I am planning an RP that I've been having trouble getting together due to much of Kiri being locked in various places.

Further, there was the issue with Sabu coming to Kiri, in which I was involved, and I've still been waiting on what I, as a player, am supposed to do with that.

Next, no. I have the right as a Jinchuuriki to deny challenges if I feel necessary. I denied Ichirou because his first challenge was nothing but a problem, and when I called a mod, they agreed the problem was not on my end and was absurd. I denied Masana (Machina) because I feel as if her character is OP considering her recent change of character, and as such, I feel she is a god-modder. I've accepted several other challenges in the interim without issues.

Ichirou, Masane... get your stuff together if you want to challenge me. Right now, you are both NEW players with OP characters that only hardly make coherent sense. I will refuse your challenges until this problem is resolved. This is a fair request, especially from me; I've been here for nearly a decade and I've earned everything I have through RP.

Madara, if you want me to be stripped you'll have to defeat me. I'm present and I respond to my messages, and I am active (though, I'll admit I've been slow in RP recently because a) school b) all the people I usually RP with are locked up elsewhere.)

Be patient, don't be shady. I literally denied the challenges of Ichirou and Masane this morning (proof I've been on SL, people?) and have been in school all day. Like, seriously guys, y'all work fast.

I'd like to bring up a point about "1] ºHow to Challenge a Jinchurikiº".

It says to report it to other jinchuuriki; currently, the other jinchuuriki, essentially, fall into two factions. Reporting it to other jinchuuriki is unfair to the jinchuuriki in question due to the biases of these two factions. There needs to be some neutral party set aside which these reports can go to.

Village Square / Re: Kurama and Son Goku
« on: September 23, 2014, 12:55:59 AM »
If he cannot host both, and has not yet declared Son Goku a summon, then I agree with you.

Further, if he declares Son Goku a summon, he'd be heavily weakened for a while. When people in the manga and anime were put in the same situation, they came close to death and were very weakened for the time thereafter; that situation being "having someway to resist death from having a bijuu removed from them." He is a Jashin, therefore immortal, but that doesn't remove him from this sort of stuff.

Further, and perhaps I'll make another forum post, but Shadow isn't a Jashin, Uzumaki, or otherwise downright immortal; he is "somewhat" immortal due to "Orochimaruness," but even he is capable of death in this way and would die. Shadow had to have Nibi removed from him in order for Nightfall to get Nibi; it was replaced by Rokubi. Shadow should be dead due to the removal of Rokubi, and if he weren't dead, he'd be an Edo Tensei and not a viable host. Am I missing something?

He'll agree. He's been very shady in this whole ordeal, and exploiting someone who he knew has a lot going on. He did the same with Zenaku. If he wants to continue playing that game, then he knows the game I'll start playing.

I don't see how it's exploiting anyone. They agreed to fight him knowing full well of their current circumstances while Bocc knew little of them. The both of them have been inactive for months before now. Whatever anyone labels his motives as, the point is, he took bijuu from inactive people. By the rules while giving them extra time.

To say Bocc knew little of them is a grave understatement. He isn't stupid. I could say more to this, but I'd rather just let my former statement stand before I get all in a huff.

Village Square / Re: Get rid of the bijuu
« on: September 15, 2014, 12:07:44 AM »
I love the Kiri is never wrong mentality though. Xia couldn't follow the bijuu rules so bijuu should be removed from the site. Just like how it's all Akatsuki's fault the fight in Kiri is taking so long after Kiri refused to respond and insisted the whole fight be voided and restarted.

You are laughable, sir. People on Kiri's side have been posting consistently when it is their turn.
We just got done waiting more than three weeks for Renkai to post a simple "get out of dodge." What is taking so long is Akatsuki's belligerence, negligence, and this animosity towards people who RP in Kiri.

The last thing that will happen is you ever getting a bijuu out of me.

Sorry Bocchiball, here's Kiri's input.

Xiarawst's wife in RL is going to pop at some time very soon. He wants that week; he will either respond to you within a week from the end of his 14-day period, or someone will respond in his place.

EDIT: Also, since Kiri people don't like the forum, you should probably inform us of things through SL pm. Not just those who you have a problem with; for example, in this case, you could have sent PMs to Xia, me, and Dart. Keep us informed; I'll get on the forums if I hear there is a problem, but I have better things to do than to put up with all of the Akatsuki members getting on the forums to have a circle-jerk.
