Village Square / Re: Enhance your Mokuton with Tailed Beast Chakra
« on: January 15, 2016, 01:00:34 PM »
...not really an answer. Ultra big ball is again only adding more power, hokage Naruto even surpassed that with ease outside of sage mode, so its not some senjutsu-only magic technique.

Ultra-big rasengan is a senjutsu and is label as such in the Naruto databook. Only time I saw Naruto made a rasengan of that size was in the Boruto movie when he and Boruto made a Parent/Child rasengan. However one can chalk that up to editing error. Databook trumps all.

@Camel
I dont see how Sage Mode is on par with Version 1 or 2. I can't imagine any of those Jinks being able to stop, let alone lift, a giant rhino. >.>

Your argument is basically the same as regular rasengan and big ball rasengan.
The only difference between them is that more chakra is added to the big ball rasengan. However, compare that to the ultra-big ball rasengan that involves senjutsu and you'll get your answer.

I personally don't want to get into how 9 bijuus form a creature that's entirely of natural energy. However even if you think each bijuu has some natural energy, we already know that if you don't have enough natural energy, you can't make senjutsu chakra anyway. >.>

Plus, Tailed Beast Ball is labeled as a ninjutsu, not senjutsu.

Except his every rasengan, not to mention even simple hakke kuusho from Hinata blew away an entire juubi's tail/arm thing, and Kakashi's kamui was bolstered to the point he could use it without drawbacks as well along with his comment it was around three times stronger than usual or something along those lines.

I don't consider the rasengan variants Naruto made in Nine Tails Mode.
The other rasenshuriken variants involved senjutsu.
Kakashi's kamui was bolstered by the amount of chakra he received, ergo rising his limit upon the jutsu.
Same can be said about the Hinata's Hakke Kuusho since it involves releasing chakra.

Yeah, I remembered that series but I rather him make new eps than remaking the old ones. -_-

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall bijuu chakra being able to 'buff up' any kind of ninjutsu. We have seen Naruto use Kyuubi's chakra almost all the time, either when he ran out of his own or when he needed more chakra, and the resultant jutsu isn't any stronger than the regular one. >.>

So far, only Sage Mode (and the like) can enhance your techniques.

Feature Requests / Re: Free Up the Zones?
« on: January 06, 2016, 12:49:26 AM »
At the very least, take the argument that many zones can fall into the category of two+ villages.

Then add to each of them, but I see your point.

Actually I would like the zones to be 're-organized'.
Forgive me if this was mentioned earlier in this thread, but I would like the zones to categorized by the five main villages/lands.

For example,

Land of Water (Kirigakure)
-Wetlands
-Iceland (?)
-Sleepy Hollow
Land of Fire (Konohagakure)
-Empty Town
-Valley of the End
- Greenlands
Land of Lightning (Kumogakure)
-Lightning Plains
- Plains
Land of Earth (Iwagakure)
-Death Valley
-Fire Valley
Land of Wind (Sunagakure)
-Desert
*Miscellaneous*
- Include a few random stages (from Amegakure, Uzushiogakure, etc)

And add a few zones to each land. This will be good for RP if you're travelling to a village or going to specific part of the country for something.

Village Square / Re: Cut Down the Summoning Claims
« on: December 21, 2015, 08:22:22 PM »
Ok so I am going to go through the list of summons claims and remove anyone who doesn't exist anymore to free up some more room.

I also wanted to propose another idea.

People probably know I thinking claiming a species as a whole is stupid. Unless it's an animal you invented then you shouldn't have dominion over it. I'd just as soon remove the whole thing.

As a middle-ground I suggest this. Remove all claims for animals that appear in the manga or anime, basically any official material. Toads, Snakes, Slugs, Crows, all of them, let anyone use them.

As I've said before their claim is pointless anyway since your own custom summons and tandem jutsu already belong to you by default. So why do you need to own all dogs or whatever?

What do we think of this idea?

Oops. I forgot to address this directly. Sorry.
I like the idea but I rather keep the list to see who has what for curiosity sake.

I had a conversation with someone about this a few months.
I think it's silly to have a claimed list for animal summonings because honestly what does it do?

1. New character wants to add certain animal to his summoning but contract holder says no, then what?
2. New character decided to add animal to his summoning without contract holder's permission, what contract holder going to do?

#1 hinders RP and #2 shows that summoning claims are not enforced anyway.
I mean, what are you going to do? Tell all your friends not to RP with the new character? It's childish.

And Bocc makes a great point. Some animals have over 100 species.
For hawks, there are over 200. You're going to claim them all?

Plus, there's the fact that you can use the animal differently than what the contract holder may describe in the 'Naruto Profile Wikia'. The contract holder may describe the animal as 'this and that' but the new character is going to describe it as 'such and such'.

Personally, I feel we should throw away the whole 'contract holder' concept and use the list as an information source to just see what characters are using those type of animals.

Btw, the first column is labeled incorrect. It says 'Species' when really it should say 'Animals' or 'Creatures'. >.>

If there are no IC hunts, then technically it would not matter if they decide to seal it in a object. >.>
But if the host is using the 'IC hunt' approach, then no.

Character Profiles / Shinkiro
« on: December 09, 2015, 08:04:36 PM »

Name: Shinkiro
Age: 10
Rank: Genin
Birth Village: Kumogakure
Village of Residence: Uzushiogakure

Background:
Born and raised in Kumogakure, an only child to a married couple, unbeknownst to him, of the Ōtsutsuki clan. However, his parents hid their identity and lived as members of the Hyuuga clan. As such, Shinkiro was raised as a Hyuuga, learning their techniques. He would lose his parents at the age of 5 to a mercenary who found out his parent’s true identity. He was killed himself but was resurrected thanks to his parents’ creation of an advanced seal forge with their love, life energy, and chakra (Seal of the Phoenix). This seal placed on his birthmark has the ability to resurrect Shinkiro from the dead. He woke up in a state of confusion, shock and sadness when he bore witness to the limp bodies of his parents. Swallowed by sorrow on a night when it was raining, the horrific night seems to move Mother Nature herself to tears. Found by a woman, unbeknownst to him, who was his aunt. She came to help his parents, but was too late. She saw Shinkiro with eyes of pity and decided to raise the boy as her own. She would take the boy far away, training him in various arts needed to survive in this harsh world called life. For five years under the woman’s tutelage, Shinkiro has shown proficiency in areas of taijutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu, and fuinjutsu. He quickly discovered that he was a natural archer, quickly becoming adept at archery. He has chakra natures in wind, water, and earth.  His time with the woman gave Shinkiro insight into her business as a bounty hunter, picking up various skills and qualities of the trade. But was most important to Shinkiro was that the woman helped him deal with the trauma of losing his parents and gave him the strength to continue living. However, Shinkiro has not moved on as he vowed to avenge his parents by seeking out and killing the mercenary who did it. But he first needs to get stronger to do that…

Kyujutsu Master (Recurve Bow & ‘Seal’ Arrows)
Proficient in Fuinjutsu
Summoning: Falcons
Chakra Natures: Wind, Water, Earth

  • Arrows – All of his arrows are made of an alloy of special metals that makes them very durable, have a high resistance to corrosion and heat while having near zero magnetic attraction. At the tip of most of his arrows lies a drill that increases their penetration, allowing them to pierce through about half an inch of steel.
