I vote to void them, as they cause too many issues. It would make life slightly nicer for a time.

I've very really seen any drug references on the game, but I know the few times it's appeared people have complained and the offenders often get a slap on the wrist.

While it doesn't seem so bad, I think the only real reason there could be any issue with it is purely due to the fact it is considered illegal in many places, and on opinions on this fact really don't matter, it is the case.

Now as SL is online environment that takes in many countries and legal jurisdictions, it really has to cover all bases. If it is gonna operate in a certain area, it has to try and enforce the laws of that land as best it can. So even though the drug often mentioned here is legal in many places (mostly for medical use only), SL may still have an obligation to discourage such behavior. Whereas alcohol etc are legal basically everywhere.

It's the same issue with other site rules, language, sexual RP, etc. Different laws in different places. SL could allow such things in the game, but then it would have to adhere to the age restrictions, which vary greatly even just in states of various countries, let alone whole different countries. Then it has to try and enforce these restrictions otherwise we get in deep doo doo.

tl;dr - Things are illegal in some places etc, and Neji has to cover his own butt. XD

I'm with this guy. I don't want the Christmas Spirit of Future breaking into my house. <.<
I agree! Let us have a Christmas miracle!

Yeah I agree it should be used for RP purposes, but really there is no need for the KG full stop really. Too many already, and we sure what that did to RP.

If you really want, and I remember most of it. Also it may be a little like the other idea proposed, but I only skim read it so I'm not sure how alike they are.

First of all, the key component was the Biju mounts, which I have included on the test server. In order to get the Jinchuriki 'KG' if you wish to call it that, you would have to reach the reset level of kills, and have one of the Biju as your mount. Then you would reset as the Jinchuriki of that Biju.

Now of course the Biju would be of different strengths, ie Gobi < Kyuubi, but there would be other advantages to picking a lower Biju, such as the lower Biju not being as rare or hard to get, and also you can master the full power easier.

Now each reset you would master two tails, or one of the last if you're an uneven tail number. Each tail beast would start with a basic few moves, ie Sunaton for Ichibi, Yoton for Yonbi, etc. You instantly get the Biju's buff constantly all gameday as well, in addition to any other mount, though you can't have another Biju as your mount.

After a kills, you can use the tails you've mastered, V1 form, where you get the bubbly chakra cloak for a buff. Once you get to 30+ or so kills, you get the V2 forms of though tails as well. After 50+ you can use a Biju bomb in V2, the power determined by how many tails you are currently at.

Once you master the tails, you get one last reset, which allows you to follow transform into the Biju, and use the full power Biju bomb too.

Example reset patter, using Gobi.
-Reset 1: Obtain basic jutsu, constant Gobi mount buff. Obtain V1 and V2 forms for tails 1 and 2.
-Reset 2: V1 and V2 for tails 3 and 4.
-Reset 3: V1 and V2 for tail 5.
-Reset 4: Complete transformation.

We were thinking of other requirements, like no other KGs to get this, or sacrificing a fully completed one to start this, maybe a higher DK limit to reset as well.

Speaking of this topic, me and Gyu came up with a pretty good system for a 'Jinchuriki' Reset scheme. However like Neji, we realised there is no real point to it.

However, on the subject of Biju as mounts though, do any of you keep an eye on the test server? Perhaps check the stables there every now and again? ;)

If you don't see anything, and you ask me really nicely, I might just be able to help you.

Wow... I forget to check the forum for one day, and everything explodes. XD

I stand in favor of Rakudo, or at least a compromise.

There hearing is the most ridiculous part of this whole joke. Serious it is completely unlegit. Let me try and explain why.

As Trev as shown us, yes there is a passive Ototon skill which increases the users hearing, and ability to hear, and filter the sounds possibly. However, he also stated it wasn't to the extent people had once abused.

Now lets look at the actual situation here. Rakudo walks into the village, Yujo is in the center of the village, easily a good few kilometers away. Now, how does Yujo being able to hear everything with in that radius of himself make an sense at all people? Really?
First of all, lets think for a moment, as Rakudo pointed out what would happen if he did listen to all of that all the time. How would he even have a normal conversation as he was at the time? 'Oh sorry, I can't hear you over the other thousand or so voices in my head guys.' So yeah, Rakudo would be spot on with the effects of what happens in that case. Also I like how Nathan tries to appeal to Superman here... really dude? Really? That's laughable.
'But wait! He can filter through, and just focus on Rakudo's voice!' Okay, makes sense... if he had a reason to focus on Rakudo, which he didn't. I'm pretty sure the barrier theory of why that might have alerted him to Rakudo has pretty much been shown to be stupid, even then in Yujo's post he acknowledged no reasoning as to why he heard, just he magically did. Perhaps Yujo filters through all the thousands of conversation at all points? Checks if there is anything worth hearing going on? That's complete rubbish too, the amount of processing power to do that would far exceed his tiny brain, and even if he could, what's the chances he would catch one little comment spoken far far away, with the crowds of the village all around him?
And lets not forget at the distances spoken hear, that sound which actually take a finite time to travel, so when Yujo heard this, Rakudo would have moved from the location at which he spoke it, doubtfully much, but still would have moved.

So there is a few reasons why the super hearing claims are complete and utter crap. I won't even start on the rest because once this is thrown out, there is no need to complete the others.

Agrees with Sabu on both points, realising he forgot to mention the auto-hit part in his own post.

But it's exactly right, you're basically telling Rakudo he can't avoid your attack? That's an auto-hit, and a meta-game in the one post! New record!!!! Someone give this man a reward!

Agreed.

To have heard that, you would have had to be focused on Rakudo as he was saying it to hear it. Simple as that. If you were, that was meta-gaming, as why would someone in the middle of a conversation simply focus on a random area, where a random person walked in, a great distance away? There is no reason.

Second, Kamui is not instantaneous as shown multiple times in the series. The bigger, and further away the target, the longer it takes to use. Plus you'd have to be focused on the target also, this doesn't happen as soon as you look out a window, especially at such a distance. I mean, you could barely make out a person at the distance without some sort of telescopic vision, which sadly the Sharingan doesn't give.

Also, as shown again, it gets avoided plenty of times! So Rakudo avoiding it, even if he did move when it was activited, which is impossible as it would have taken time for Yujo to focus, he was still able to avoid it.

Just my two cents.

I used to take part.

Anyway, it's all play based, you said yourself you have people the do it as is, take care of it yourselves.

You don't need an offical title or anything to do it, RP is player based, the RP Kages etc don't have staff position. So stop seeking for more power Rai, be happy with what you have.

Haha! Amen.
