Title: Boss Chipmunk
Post by: Murciélago/Bryantheexiled on October 09, 2013, 11:37:52 PM
I was in the forest like normal when the event came up.
I had increased my Specialty in the Garden before-hand twice using the points so my specialty was at 3.

Using Hyouton ninjutsu i used Tsubame Fubuki, The Ice Swallow move.
Now i was on lvl 1 and the chipmunk boss only had 200 hp and i started the fight at full health.

After the first round was over i noticed that it's hp hadnt dropped at all so i clicked attack and round 2 was over and nothing again and by round three i had died but it's hp hadnt changed.

I figured maybe the event bugged out. I didn't get a screen shot i should have but it slipped my mind

Afraid not, that boss can heal itself, it is deceptively strong.

Should you attack have killed it? It can have hundreds of HP, it is also possible it healed itself a few times consecutively.

The attack should have left it with only 3 hp from the first strike unless when it heals its health goes all the way up 200 and I had Pakkun it's damage i didn't calculate in there but essentially yes it should have died from the first hit.

From my one time being victimized, I can say that that boss is nothing but hacks. You try to kill it in the first round, it gets mad, eats some nuts, then comes at you with even more power.

It's like Sasuke. Killing the guy takes more than ordinary means.

More like Popeye, really. That magical spinach does wonders.
