Actually, Mitsuki's dad/mom/creator is Orochimaru. Which basically makes Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki the new Team 7/inheritors of the Sannin's legacy.

But in all seriousness, it's kind of interesting to see that the Sannin have had such an influence on the series. Still kind of bummed out Jiraiya didn't make a comeback during the War arc. Even if he just showed up in the fillers, it would have been cool.
