Feature Requests / Avatar Picture Size Too Small?

I looked around and couldn't find any recent posts on this matter (or any at all really). Yeah, the size limit for avatars are way too small. 50kb is a very difficult number to reach while still having a picture of a decent size (the max picture size is 320x320). So yeah, just increase the limit to 200kb or so?

Yes, I think this is a really good idea. Like a really really good idea.

Renji then leaves almost as quickly as he appeared. If you noticed his presence you have indeed seen a very rare sight indeed. You should tell your grandkids about it.

Am I the only person that actually had my character get addicted to chakra pills, or in other words soldier pills? It's a pill, take too much or so and you get addicted and then comes the negative side effects like fluctuating chakra levels and chakra instability which brings about other effects as well. Imagine, you are in a battle of life and death and suddenly your chakra drops tremendously without you even using a technique or your chakra levels get extremely high and too much for your body to handle.

I love realism. Why shouldn't they have drawbacks? Nothing is perfect, every medicine has some side effect and the possibility of addiction.

I agree with Kage that it should be be 4 resets in each for the Rinnegan for the same reason. Rinnegan is supposed to be rare you know, extremely so. We all agree that the Rinnegan is overpowered, right? It poses very little drawback, if at all for the powerful abilities it boasts. It shouldn't be all too easy to get, shall it?

And yes, Renji outta nowhere cause I'ma ninja lurking in the shadows.

But how long does that take? I still see zones from 2008 there. What point is them being there for years if the text only remains for about 20-30 days? Maybe the self-delete times for the private zones can be...once all of the text has been auto-deleted from the server. There is no point in having years of now empty zones sitting there clogging up the list.

Yes a search engine and better organization would be much nicer, in fact that is the main problem and deleting the zones that have been around for ages will make the list smaller and easier to manipulate and organize.

Edit: Silver just pointed out the me that the posts, like everywhere else on SL are deleted over time. I think that this should be negated when it comes to the private zones. I do understand that space is an issue when it comes to the servers but the point of private zones is to...well have what happened in the zone archived as well. Otherwise, there is no point in keeping the ones from earlier years as all of those are blank now. The system is very flawed.
Isn't that what the 'Grab commentlines as PDF' option for? If there's any string of posts worth archiving for future references, then save them in a PDF and upload it (the PDF) to Mediafire and post up a link to it here in the forum (in a thread). But of course, that's just what I think.  :o

True, but if that is the case what is the point of keeping private zone matches for years, long after they are rendered blank and useless by the automatic post deleting of SL. This makes the list unnecessarily long and somewhat difficult to navigate. Also, isn't that part of the point of archiving private zones in the first place, for the contents to be archived as well?

The organization of the private zones is well...horrendous. It lists things from oldest to newest, as well as keeps records of 'things' that ended without a single post at all. This takes up useless space on the server and just makes the list much longer than it should be as there is no need to save those that have no posts. I suggest that the zones be organized from newest to oldest and the junk (the saved matches that do not have posts) be deleted from the server completely. I think that there should also be a search bar where you can search for a specific username (including your own) or some sort of 'My Matches' part to it.

In conjunction with this, I believe that the cost for private zones should be solely scaled to level instead of level and rank. This, in my opinion, would be a more efficient system to go by.

Well,...i attempted to read through it all,but do not expect me to keep this all within my head.

I think we pretty much agree that we want GM.
We want ACTIVE GM.
GM that have a LOW EGO.
GM that actually ROLEPLAY.

I personally would also like them to narrate the rp a bit. I love it when someone comes up with a random story,whether it be random bandti killing or not.But be honest to role-play on your own through out a story is boring. It is more fun if someone plays the 'enemy

And yes,let's not have the Kage as GM ,they will change during the game and lose their rank....would this make them lose the GM powers as well?
Some Kage are also not..this good..i mean...who would like a GM/kage who godmods,autohits ,kidnaps Suna nin and attempted to attack and damage Suna whilst saying he is still allied to the village?
I simply hope no one gets the reference.... xD

This demon thing...I can not understand why EVERYONE seems too complain about it. In the Japanese mythology there are neko-like beings. Many different kind of demons and devils and evil spirits.
Bijuu are indeed just a ass of chakra with personality. Evil spirits are a mass of energy with personality...so to say....Instead of complaining one can simply adapt.

We can not simply purge all existing 'Non-naruto' characters....unless you do this in Game.Then i wish you luck to find them all. Most of them do not roleplay in the villages or zones .Beside..i find immortal Ninjas more disturbing then Vampires!
I mean i simply take saltwater and make the Vampire swallow it(when it is a vampire of the book 'Skulduggery Pleasant') or..i behead it..or i rip out the heart. Also if i remember right then in the Anime,Asuma said he heard of immortals before and that beheading them kills them,this is why they beheaded Hidan....so.. doesn't this say that more strange stuff exist in Naruto?

Damn i somehow..got distracted with that topic..let's get back to GM...

'Cause Asadi is fully right. We should stop to bicker about GM and what they should be..it is time to choose some...or at least think of people we would like as GM.
Who would you think of worthy,who is active? post it here.And give the younger ones a chance too,some of them are good too....

Agreed once more. We cannot pick others who are vampires, werewolves, demons, nekos and whatnot from the game at all, they can all rp as well, since much of these concepts are present in Japanese folklore which much of Naruto is derived from in the first place. I mean, even I have a mythological summoning contract, a kappa that I barely ever use in battle or anything at all whatsoever, mainly another persona to reflect with Renji's own.

Anyway, I would like to say the following for GM: As long as they do their job, are very active and rp often as well as being mostly impartial, I cast my votes for them. No hot-heads please >.>;

Ah, I don't know who I would want as a GM, you guys make suggestions and I find things to agree with.

I like the thought of having actual GMs that do more than say a few things in PM, as earlier stated. The thought of GMs that Roleplay with us and keep peace is nice.. They could set rules to be followed so that people can be nice to one another and not troll as people do in HQ often. There is no reason for rudeness, SL is a great game and there should be more people there to keep peace. I believe at times, OOC is a good thing.. But in clan halls or in PM. In actually villages it should be strictly in character RPing.

GMs, there should be multiple people trained to know what is correct and what is wrong so that we can have a smooth flowing RP enviroment. When people come in and in the middle of a RP fight or a RP and start talking about.. "Skyrim" or something of the sort. It causes irritation within the RPing community at times. Like I said, OOC is okay, but keep it to.. Pm or in clanhalls. Something along those lines.

This is only my opinion. But I agree with this thread. Thank you.

I agree with the above, even if there is a problem with godmodding or so, it should be discussed through pm so as to not clog up roleplay for others or to just break the flow with endless OOC posts and arguments.
