Might be better if the previous hosts were referred to by the beasts as "some bloke" or "that chick".

Just make it either a name and general personality, or simply nothing, then.
This. +1

For the sake of being the devil's advocate, I would purpose that it isn't meta gaming. If a person follows the necessary channels and gains information on a person it's not metagaming to then use that information to your advantage. So why would it then become metagaming to ascertain the knowledge that a tailed beast would in fact have on any particular individual and use it to further your own goals? Is it meta gaming because it's easier than most other options?

I would simply label it as unfair, opposed to Metagaming. Though I am not against your suggestion of limiting the information a beast would have. My counter offer might be...Name and affiliation, but no details on powers and abilities or well kept secrets like a hideout or scheme in the works. Learning a name and affiliation would give people a decent lead as to where this individual might frequent, which would allow for the possibility of an IC hunt (Not necessarily a Biju hunt). Just having the village that they were affiliated with while being the beast's host would not immediately oust you. Said hunter would still need to go there and try and handle the situation from that point forward, assuming you're even in that village anymore. The information could be dated after all.

Okay, maybe I used the term wrong, but it's more of an IC level with regards to actual roleplaying on the site. Let's admit, most of the bijuu are won and claimed OOCly here. So how exactly would it fit in the RP occurring on site? I may be overthinking about the part of the beasts being injected into all things IC, but again, what's pushing the limit when it comes to getting in-character information? What is fair and unfair?

Name and affiliation is good enough. I dunno how the current hosts will use any of this info about the previous vessels, unless the previous guy/s owes them money or something, but I guess it will suffice.

I said before that I wouldn't poke my nose into bijuu business, but this caught my attention and I might as well throw in an idea.

Rusaku raised some points on the pros and cons of the beasts retaining memories of their previous hosts, though the cons kinda give the current host a free ticket to know vital stuff about a previous host. Say that previous host X is wanted criminal in all shinobi villages, so the current host can just blab that 'oh, host X used to be at {this place} and can do {these stuff} because their former beast told me'. That is, in a way, metagaming and that's a no-no around here.

I suggest that the beasts do retain memories of their previous host, but just their identities, not abilities or affiliations and such. A name and probably how they treated/interacted with their bijuu would be reasonable, yes? Again, this is just a suggestion. *bows out*

Council / Re: Where does the Sub fit in the 2:5 ratio?
« on: August 17, 2017, 12:31:26 am »
For the record, I'm more concerned on updating the wikia than of this ratio you guys have on the council. I merely asked about it because Eric mentioned he might have to give up his beast, so I'm keeping myself updated so as to reflect it the wikia. If this is not the case, then there's no need to change anything on there.

Suspend the ratio clause as we need people to actually participate in the council. Only reinstate it when more interest and more bijū owners show interest.
I second this one.

Won't lie, candy event gave me a crap ton of gems that I might not have had otherwise, so Neji's forgetfulness giveth and taketh.

I could always use more gems to get up on the Hall of Fame lol
A thousand plus and counting. ;) Anyway, back to the topic, will the event be removed or not?

I'm surprised that event is still turned on, I mean after all it's one of the many events for Easter. I guess Neji might've forgot to turn it off, like he did with the candy item drops awhile back.

I thought it stays active until you actually won something. Because I remember another event, the Kirin, is kinda the same. I stumbled upon it months after the Chinese New Year because I wasn't leveling too often.

Village Square / Re: Chakra Counting
« on: June 15, 2017, 01:31:09 am »
While my character may be capable of huge amounts of chakra, I still keep in mind how much she uses and what limitations she has at the moment. In a past RP, Yomi had to dish out high-level jutsus in a battle in Suna and eventually, she felt the strain and had to be out of commission in the end because she was really drained. In her current state, she would be weakened quicker when using chakra because of her 'affliction' wherein she had to constantly expend some of it to keep herself alive.

Anyway, from what I've seen around here, some people keep an eye on how much they use, some don't. It's just how you want to play out your stuff. Dunno if every active RPer will even follow a chakra system if one was implemented. Too much hassle, maybe?

I think the Sunagakure events should be updated. Those are done... and I think there's something going on right now about a genetically-enhanced kid rampaging the streets?

Plus, with family life and all that my motivation to log on and post has been very low. I really should try getting back into the loop though. Hopefully Yomi won't mind picking up from where we left off in Kiri <_<
I kinda wondered where you poofed off to, but thanks for telling us. Real life comes first after all. You're still free to respond to the post I put up about I-dunno-how-many pages in the square; I'm willing to continue the mercenary job GMing.

Anyway, don't mind me. Back to the topic. ^^

I believe the Hinata event has been tweaked a bit for those women who prefer the same gender. I can't recall him being 'easier' when it comes to females, which is why I changed my gender to male... to avoid getting him to follow me and gape at my backside. >>;; But then again, I may be wrong.

Rules/Foundation / Re: up to date info

Yomi- As far as I remember, the last time it was discussed, the consensus was that multiple hosting is allowed.

Thanks for that Hades. No need to change the table titles then.

I edit the wikia as soon as I can when I get requests from players, given that they give me the needed information and such. If I'm not around, there's always Hades and Koji. :)

Rules/Foundation / Re: up to date info

I believe this can be done easily. For now, I depend on the forum and the players themselves when it comes to updating stuff on the wikia. With the help of the other wikia admins, we manage to keep it up to date (I think). However, we still need the help of the community to make sure it is indeed updated.

So far, I think the tailed beast list on the wiki is up to date, however, I may try to fix the table due to the fact that some of the people listed there are holding multiple bijuu so I'm guessing they can only host one beast while the rest is/are their summon/partner. Do tell me if I'm wrong to assume this and I'll leave the table as is. Also, is there a list of updated rules for the bijuu? A link to that would be nice as well.

Any help would be appreciated. :)
