Basically, all the thread consisted of was chat and off topic banter. Even in "Spam" I like to at least see content, if members want to chat, hop on AIM, this isn't the place to do so.

And as for you saying it's selfish, you're wrong. If you want topics to stay open, then stay on topic!

And a final mnote, Neji appoints moderators so he doesn't have to run around and do all the work himself. If he didn't have us around, it would be a 24 hour job for him and wouldn't have anytime for a personal life.
