Some parts are different. The manga has a few things in it that they didn't show in the anime for obvious reasons (Mostly too bloody ^.^)
Also, no fillers in the manga... Which is VERY nice =) Of course the american manga hasn't gotten pass the second part of the chuunin exams yet *Tear*

Yup, the manga and subbed versions of Naruto are all I read and watch, I've given up completely on the english version of Naruto.

If you were to buy the Naruto japanese version I would guess it would be in japanese ^.^

I usually buy mine from amazon or from the company that provides the library with our books (I get a discount this way ^.^)

Price always change depending on where you buy it. I can get them off amazon for around 8$ But i get the ones from the library for 5$ - 6$ ea.

And the ones I get from the library ARE in english. You need to read the description of the ones you buy from amazon to find out whether it's english or japanese.

I guess I'm just not a manga kind of guy. Basically, it was dead on to the episodes I had already watched, the animation was in black and white and subpar at best(action scenes), and it didn't really pull you in as much because you can't get a feel for the characters like you do in the anime.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, if I want to read something, I'd grab a book.
