Alright, I think we get the point already that the server is down. You don't need to repeat everything the previous posters already said.

Check the post time and then check to see what time it is there. The hour will be off *maybe* but the minutes will be roughly the same.

Be aware that when an outage happens, It'll STAY until Oliver can get to it. Common sense people. Thanks.

Neji was sound asleep as it was 1am.

Also bad news, it seems the error crippled the db -_-

I am trying to save what I can.

Oh my. That's not good. That's not good at all.

I'm new here; can anyone tell me if this happens a lot, or is this a rare occurance?

After the last rise of the max-on to 160 we are having this about once a week (I'd say)

I cannot narrow down the cause, and it might be a mysql bug, so I hope for a new version -_-

It only happens when the server is highly frequented.

I heavily suspect

a) a mysql bug

b) some weird coincidences when the server is crammed with people

yet b ... was tested with even 200 guys on -_- *sigh*

You know Neji, if this keeps happening, and the cause is max loging, 130 120, people isnt bad. We lived with only 100 people max before, so whats a little less?

I mean, this is obviously a LOT of work for you, at 2 am too...

Oo

the thing is: I am not sure if it's that...

no real hint. anywhere.

200 were OK for 2 days, I took snapshots...

Think anyone at DragonPrime may have a clue or hint? Maybe the same thing happened to one of them sometime along the road.

Just a guess...

But 200 for 2 days may be ok but 160 for a week may not be...

I'm still pretty convinced its members... but since my knowledge of MySql is very limited...

I hope this is resolved soon. Because not only is this annoying for us neji

has to deal with this. It seems like ever since the new server it crashes a lot.

once a week is not really a lot per definition... but too much.

also, I have another suspect but will have to see what happens as I changed some things and now am grabbing vital information every 5 minutes off the server, maybe there is a clue.

also, nobody at DP I know capable of such a things has a clue.

Personally, I thought it was a gesture most appreciated. I was in the middle of levelin when the outage happened. I thank thee, Neji.
