Spanish Translations
« on: December 07, 2006, 02:25:10 AM »

As i said in the main topic of this place, i'm a native from Spain, and don't worry, i'm reallly really good at my language. I think i may be a good translator, 'cause now i don't have a job so i have plenty of free time to do what i want, so i could do it pretty fast (not this week 'cause it's holyday here in spain and i have the just time to play, but after those 4 days, i can dedicate 6 or 7 hours a day at least)

The way to do it... well... tell me how do you want it and it will be easier lol

Be honest most spanish people here including me are great at English & Spanish. Maybe it's not required , but thats me. Anyway maybe more than 1 mod for Spanish should be made , but for a better test how about you guys type my sentence I just posted back in Spanish to test your skills. :D

translation:
Seamos honestos, la mayoria de la gente española incluyendome a mí somos muy buenos en ingles y español. Quizá no sea requerido, pero ese soy yo. De cualquier manera tendrían que ser creados más de un moderador para el español, pero para una mejor prueba que os parece, chicos, si escribís la frase que he colgado en español para comprobar vuestras habilidades. :D

Which sentence? I may propose you the same test: translate my first post, let's test your skills. If you wanna become a spanish moderator, that's all up to you, talk with neji, i just wanna have shinobi legends in my maternal language. If you want we can work togheter...

Nobody has to prove how well they know spanish to anyone else.. as of course when it's translated, it will(or should) be revised by many other people as well. Asking everyone to prove themselves is a waste of time. I'm just plain American, and have been studying spanish almost all my life (since the 3rd grade). I believe that's requirement enough, thank you. >.>

i speak spanish fluently too. like the guy above me said, maybe one person should translate and 2 or 3 otherpeople can double check to make sure it makes sense and is understandable.

Yo te propongo el mismo examen. intepreta mi primer apunte, para ver tus abilidades. Si quieres hacerte un assistente en espanol, es tu decision, habla con el rey neji, yo solo quiero tener shinobi legends como mi lengua materna. si quieres podemos trabar juntos. :D

I've counted five translators. If we work togheter i think we may do it in a few time. Don't worry, if anyone doesn't have a perfect domination of spanish, just help translating something and i'll correct the grammatical errors and the coherence of the sentences.

I think that the spanish translation can begin as soon as our boss neji decides to do it, do you agree?

one last thing:

almost perfect dude, good job  ;)
