I got beat up by hinata as an acad at levle 10 and it took me about a month after that to get to genin

When I first started playing I didn't attack people with clan names because some of them had ones like <Seal> and <Curse> so I thought they had the curse mark and they had a powerful buff.................DId't realize this was not true til 2 dk genin.....

I did the same thing until right before my first oro kill then i figured it out.

thats exactly what happened to me!!!!

when I was acad I attacked every player on the game without looking what rank did they have XDD
other one, was that I challenge my sensei without enough exp at level 1
once when I was acad level 14 Hinata gaved me metal parts
