What exactly do you "lose" when you get promoted (i.e. to Genin, and so on...)?  I wouldn't mind having a concrete list in front of me so I can know what to use and what to save.

i dont think u loose anyhting but when u get a high rank u cant attack academy students  :evil:

that makes sense.  I was just wondering since i saw someone regretting not having spent their gold before they got the next rank

You also lose temporary attack and defense after an Oro kill, can't forget those.
