I'd have to say no on this seeing as I use 2 colors when I chat, orange for actions and blue for talk.

I'd also say no, it's only about two more buttons you have to push. What's the difference? Also Baluski makes a point with people and their colors for actions or for when you talk.

if you use the same color everytime you write than i think that you would probably have the number memorized by now and would be able to do it unconsiously in a second. but even if this is true, i would like this option. it's the best feature request in this forum thats out there right now.

Erm.. I don't think this will be made in though.. I'm a Shikamaru, lazy and smart. I'm so lazy I don't wanna push two buttons

How about this for the shift features? Like `L, because sometimes I mess up, and get a completely different color, all because of the shift.

you don't necessarily have to type that though. especially when you are about to become a gold chuunin. >.>

... and with some people who don't use quotations, it's even more difficult to tell what they are doing. so the gold emoting helps.

I barely talk at all.

there's a way to bold, but it doesn't work in public places... Neji should get right on changing that...

anyway, the bold works in MoTD's, clan descriptions, your bio, basically non-publically-effected places.

Not just bold, even italics.

The reason why you can't do bold or italic is the public is because if someone doesn't close it correctly, the rest of the page will be effected. Name, messages, emotes, everything will automatically become bold/italic until a mod finds and deletes the message that caused it.

Gyu is right, therefore italic/bold/centered font is prohibited there.

i see no need for bold and italic in public..red color is more than enough to stress..

don't get me wrong, but i like the color system just like it is now..for the new system that auto-refresh,i vote YES..

but still, if it slows the sever..NO
