I thought, that any member of a clan, could remove anyone else, as long as they were at a lower clan rank.

Yeah they can and I don't really like that part. It should be that only someone wih like 20 points in the clan can demote. I was talking about people with leader or near leader status that can delete everyone.

ACTUALLY... not true. Only members above the officer level ( for you non clan leaders its rank 20) can promote/demote and remove from clan.

No, THAT isn't true. In my clan I had someone under the rank of 20 and he removed everyone in the clan that was ranked below him..

I also thought that those privileges were given at rank 20, but it's lower than that.

According to Neji, only officers and above have those powers.

All officers can demote people of smaller rank. Officers can also be considered people who are more than members, means rank > 10

They can demote *anybody* lower than them.

Same is true for higher ranked people.

you have to be over member (rank 10) to remove lower people or at least officer (20)
to promote/demote people

that's as far as I rewrote that part. in normal lotgd, yes, everybody does have full control over people with a lower rank in the clan (demote/promote etc)

you do realize you can just move the member & officer rank much higher above rank 20 so you don't have any problems, right?

I have my member rank at rank #20 & my officer rank at #25 which leaves me quite a bit of room to create different positions.

*sighs*
If we could move the rank amount to 40-45, now that would be nice. I feel you should only have people that you fully trust in your higher ranks. This shouldn't be an issue.

You may rename them, but  the integer value does not change

I am for this then since anyone that is over my #11 (Shoku Commander) can demote/remove from clan.

Neji, if this event thingy dosent happen, can you rewrite the clan thing so that members can demote/promote and officers can remove?

A person can easily get to rank 10 and all the leaders i talked to feel insecure about their clan. A very determined hater of your clan can easily ruin it.

I had something with officers in mind, but it seems I did not put it in.

OK, here is the current setup.

-all members can promote/demote/remove players below them.



So, my proposal would be "only officers & up can promote/demote/remove".
