While on my Cerberus alt, I had a local encounter with the peddler everybody oh so dearly loves.

However, I know the student alt wouldn't be able to handle losing 5 health or 10 health. So I clicked on the green potion; inscribed in the peddler's head that the potion will surely make Cerberus 'stronger'. Yet it's not letting me take the potion. Yes, I'm at level 8, and have 80 health like the standard amount is supposed to be. But aren't we all able to have over that standard amount of health?

His reply is like any of the other potions: "Wise choice there sir. Drinking this potion will surely make you healthier. It's going to cost you 1 gem."

I have the gems... but here's the catch.. He wouldn't let me take it. I tried it again, and surely he let me take the potion.

Why didn't he allow it the first time?

He might have had a glitch and mistaken that potion for one of the higher costing potions. What did he say after you tried to get the potion once?

Same thing as the other potions. You expect me to photograph it and save it just so I can see what it is? Self explanatory.

Yes. That my body couldn't handle the side-effects of it.

The second time? Why? The green potion is a guarantee increase.

so nothing  wrong as it does not let you get a dangerous potion you cannot handle?

no?

you cannot say "ah, I'll take the one that could let me lose 10hp but I don't have it... so I can only benefit from it!" <--nope.

I'm not sure, but I think Lebis took the potion that doesn't have any negative side effects (G.P.)

But it said she can't take it cause she can't handle the side effects (Only happens when you take the other potions).
In other words, there might have been a glitch there.

I tried the red potion, yes, as I forgot what alt I was on.

But as Shinigami said, it wouldn't let me have the green potion at the first request of it.

interesting. with the green, it is just not possible =)

the code has no such check, and it does look 100% safe.

did you *really really* try to get the green one? you might not have missed the button or so?

I ask that silly because I can't explain the sentence where no sentence can be.

It went like this:

Red - failure
Green - failure
Green - success
