City Houses

I am now eligible to make a city house, but is it worth it?? I mean, I know you can give out keys and stuff, but my question is, is there a limit on the keys you get??

you can normally give out one more key than there are places to sleep and as for the places to sleep i dont know

Can you please be more specific, is there an actual amount of keys you could have, and do those amounts change?? Thats all I need to know.  :D
