Mounts and Specialities

Ok, i dont know how the new mount system will work but i thought id post this anyway just in case it somehow made it to the new system.

I think there should be benefits to using mounts alongside certain specialities, eg Shukaku and Suna. This is how I envision the system:

Mount: Shukaku
Speciality: Suna
Benefit:Level 1 and 15 jutsu do 33-50% more damage, Defensive jutsu eg Suna no Yoroi are 33-50% more effective

Mount: TonTon and Katsuya
Speciality:Medical
Benefit: TonTon: Jutsus are more effective, eg, Chakra Kyuuin (level 1) heals for 5 extra rounds, Dokugiri lasts 5 extra rounds, etc

Mount: Kyoudaigumo
Speciality: Doton? (I think its the closest one aligned to spiders)
Benefit: Attacking jutsu (eg the level 5) do 15% more damage, defensive jutsu last for 2 extra rounds

Mount: Gamakichi/Gamatatsu/Gamabushi/Gamabunta
Speciality: Katon
Benefit: gives you the ability to use Jiraiya's Toad Oil Fire technique (gamabunta only, possibly gamabushi) which works like Karyuu Endan but does more damage, that can be worked out later if people like my idea. Gamakichi and Gamatatsu increase the damage of the normal fire techniques by 10%

Mount: Kamatari
Speciality: Fuuton
Benefit: Increases the damage of the offensive techniques by 15%

Mount: Akamaru/Kuromaru
Speciality: ALL
Benefit: gives you the ability to use Beast Man Clone and Gatsuuga, which appear under basic ninjutsu, details can be worked out later

Mount: Pakkun
Speciality: Doton
Benefit: Gives you the ability to use Kakashi's Tracking Fang Technique (details can be worked out later)

Mount: Enma
Speciality: All
Benefit: Gives you the ability to use Kongounyoi (ability where Enma turns into a staff) to attack (basic ninjutsu)

Mount: Neko
Speciality: Katon
Benefit: Increases damage by 25%

Mount: Mando
Speciality: None
Benefit: None, Sorry Mando users, Orochimaru doesnt really have a speciality (at least not one currently in game)

Mount: Kyuubi
Speciality: Fuuton (Manga readers should know why i picked Fuuton. :D)
Benefit: Increases damage by 33-50% (can be decided upon later?)

Of course its just to give you an idea of what i mean, things can be changed, benefits can be altered to make more/less powerful. Obviously some specialities dont have special mounts, well, the specialities were never equal in the first place anyway.

cool, but this really needs to be worked on.
it might get complicated, but the idea should make the game a whole lot more realistic, especially with the new mount system upcoming. (i don't know much, but i think that mounts will be summoned in battle, there will be contracts, and all mounts should get less powerful)

I think its a good and unique idea, but it all depends on Neji and the extent of the new system.

The new mount system...

there you will have a *real* mount, not just some that buffs you up.

I can assure you: you will most likely not get any attack or defense buff for a mount ;) rather your mount fights with you ...

oh, by the way, it can die... if you let it attack and its hitpoints (yes, they now have hitpoints) drop below 0.

^^

Man i just got perminent kyuubi, it seems as though the new system will make people able to kill it, while taking away the special limited help it has but, i dont really know how neji will do it so.On the topic at hand i think it is good, but mihgt conflict with the new system so i dont know.

that would be quite some work.

yes, it would make sense in a way, though in Naruto those creatures cast their own jutsus once released.

but as a supplement, well, I'll check if I can get this working in a decent way. to be honest: surely it's possible, but the efficiency is another question...
