most likely, it only seems like he "dies" just so he can return again at the end of the movie w/ a weird explanation to it all

Sasuke deals with Itachi then Akatsuki either try to recruit Sasuke or try to take him down.

BAh, or they could just kill Naruto and his stupid motto when they're ahed, and promote iruka.

Iruka's famous attack: Rasen-kunai! his motto YOu horrible STUDENT!

or if naruto has to die, kakashi wont be a bad sub ^^
