I hear that Vista is a waste of money, and after using it on my friends computer, I would never use it. The only thing I liked was the log in screen, but after that, it was total crap. The thing I hate the most is how if you scroll over a window, it gives you a preview... I dunno, but for now I'm sticking with XP.

Everything is diferent there, it's harder to find something, with XP it's much easier and simple, the only thing i see vista having better is protection.

I was using Vista but is still too buggy for me. There was some option to be able to boot from XP still so I unistalled it for now until they do some more work on it. I did download the transformation pack so I can still get the "look" of Vista...

  install Debian Etch ^^

and if you have a newer graphics card, install beryl...

and so on...

I am used to windows, but I could do most stuff on my linux machine. the only thing: I cannot synchronize outlook with it yet... and I want to port my outlook stuff over to thunderbird.

once that is done, and some other things are working, well...

my new computer will have a linux partition.

though...
I just bought the "startup" stuff for a cat...

XP > Vista.

For now anyways... I would consider it once all of the bugs are fixed.
