Another one of my ideas-
When you join a certain clan, you could get a certain kekkei or ability.
When creating a clan, you could choose what kekkei genkai you want the clan to have

i.e. If you are creating a hyuugan clan, choose byakugan
uchiha-sharingan
kaguya-well, whatever thats called

Also there could be Akimichi and Aburame, and that other bug clan. The powers could go as another category under
speciality and they'd work the same way.

it's probably impossible to do with player-created clans, but neji's developing kekkei genkais in some other way
