Alright, I was thinking...

Would it be possible to get a link option only for updating the MoTD in clan halls?

A link would look so much better then a long URL going to a picture or weekly game..

A one word link or something wqould be so much more better...

OR..

If you do not want to let us have that option, maybe on the left hand side you can put a "clan links" section, where our links would go..

only founders and leaders?

Just seems more...organized then a long URL..

For example, In my clan...I have outfits for certain jobs or paths..
To show them, I need a URL...it looks messy and un organized no matter how I put them..

EXAMPLE:

Clan Links:

~Outfits~
-Bandit
-Assassin
-Spy
-BLAH BLAH

~Games~
-ping pong
-Tetris
-yadda yadda

~Misc~
-Avatar Opt. 1
-Avatar Opt. 2
-Voting Website

Just put that sort of thing on the left with the other actions..
I know people do a lot of votes in clans and post a lot of things that have URL's, just seems more...organized..

if that takes to much coding, Just make a Link option when updating the MoTD, so you can add links in the MoTD instead of the left hand side

I see where you would think that, But no..

Well, I guess it depends on the Server..
Usually Links don't make it run slower..

I have been creating websites/games for about three years now, I rarely have that problem

I say no to the HTML links.
Hard enough half the people on SL don't know fully about it and it would lead to a lot of broken links and what not.
Not to mention people will take advantage of this to post HTML embedded objects.

See, it would just be like the Personal Websites; no?
If you add everything, it's just like adding a few more hundred players on the game..
Now, if you go the left side action way; I'm sure people wont misuse it..
If they don't put up inproper things now, they wont then..

The problem is that if you make it like the personal websites, it requires TONS of coding..right?
I'm not Familar about the coding for this Server...

The personal website stuff, no, not yet.

But making a large amount of links possible in a clan will invite abuse... one link is...well, not much.
(and this *has* been abused for importing i.e. pictures as "free avatars" .... so don't think there won't be tries)

With i.e. 5 links, I can guarantee 1 is game related and the rest is offtopic. Youtube, myspace, whatnot.

and I can't wait to see the first exploit tries to enter any type of code.
