true i mean when my sister changed the password on my dads computer i managed to hack back on and i am horrible with most electronics.But that story was entirely different than what is happening.But couldnt you hack your account back and set up some protections so the hacker cant get it back?Just throwing that idea out as some advice.

If you really wanted to sac you could spend a hour or two and hack it like TCA said. Fight hacking with hacking!

then you could post a virus so when the person tries to go back on their computer gets a bunch of popups or something.

That's slightly illegal so I wouldn't advise it, and if it's a good hacker they can kill you with viruses

Cant literally kill you unless they do it like the newwest die hard movie.and hacking into the account was also illegal.But yeah im not supporting someone doing something illegal because i might also get in trouble and the feds dislike me enough as it is.

Knowing HOW to is basic knowledge, being PROFICIENT is a different story

How about going forward we have some type of email message that needs to be responded to by the original email that is on the account for confirmation of being switched over. I am not sure if this could be an automated process or not.

If it isn't, I will not mind assisting in this capacity since it will be a manual process...

Just my way of thinking & another way to add an extra layer of security...sorry that you lost your account...

Since when did randomly guessing at a password get termed "hacking"? From what I understand, not a single account on this site has ever been legitametly hacked before.

Anyways, it's your fault for creating a password that could be so easily guessed, don't blame staff.

I agree that if a faulty password is used, the fault lies with the creator of that password.

However, in Kamaitachi's bio, it says blatantly "It got hacked.....new owner" in the bio.

The person is not even denying they hacked the account. 

When that happens, perhaps the account can just be deleted?

It doesn't help the victim, but the perpetrator does not get the benefit of stealing someone else's character.

Why would they want to deny it after going through all the trouble of guessing the password?

The only way the character should be deleted is if the new owner chooses to delete it, which is morally corrupt in my mind, but it's that persons decision. =(
