Learn from your mistakes or quit trying to start your own clan & join those stronger clans out there instead. That is my advice.

We wouldn't invent mechanical legs to help a baby who can't even stand on his own two feet yet to walk. He will have to learn how to walk on his own.

There was an academy student who joined at the forming of my clan. He recruited about 10 people into the clan. I gave him a rank above 20 for his hard work.

Then he deleted the clan.

Guess I'm a horrible leader.

ok, if ONLY leaders should promote/demote, fine.
then I hope NO leader will ever complain about him/her having to do sooo much administrative work and nobody short of a leader can help it

why I won't do a "xyz get delete rights" is simple from a programmers view:
a more or less complete rewrite would be necessary. the clan system is core, and pretty old.
I did many expansions where I could, but making extra permissions for ranks in each clan is something that will cripple the system.

I completely understand the complaint, but it's not really feasible.  Each clan might want a particular rank that has those abilities.  For example, The Hyuuga Clan may want there's to start at rank 25 and up, but the Aburame Clan might want it at rank 27 and up.  It's just not possible to program it for each clan's individual preference. 
There are many founders and clans in general that leave the maintenance of the clan to their officers(rank 20 and up), this gives the officers a sense of belonging to the clan and prepares them for leading their own clans in the future.

It wouldn't be preference for the clan, only leaders and founders would be allowed to remove people

Every clan, at least the majority, would have to agree with that in order for it to be implemented, the likelihood of that happening is slim.  Lord knows we have our share of clans.  As said before in early posts, clan destroying is part of the game, I don't agree with it but it is reality.  You have good guys, bad guys, and wolves in sheep clothing. Just like real life.

you cannot "hack" an account by being a technical genius (who would have better uses than this game for his doing) here.

so, either

a) password given out
b) password written down+stolen
c) password stored on computer & used the same to get in


etc

so, I am not the FBI, visiting people personally and taking there hardware apart.

You just do such a good job Handling the Clan apps that i let you do it. 

I Think Neji is Right and people are To Trusting to, ANBU has been around for along time with no one ever Hacking the clan and deleting member or anything like that.
