Errrr...I ran into this nasty error while promoting a new applicant in a clan I am in.

I agree, I petitioned this several times to Neji, but don't remember getting any kind of response or a confirmation that 'Senji' was the intended title. I've heard other people reporting it and supposedly getting it fixed, however I still see 'Senji of the Forest'.

this phrasing has always bothered me. I should think this would make more sense.

Typically you go ahead and punctuate the quote inside the quotation marks like its own sentence; in this case. There are tons of rules and this instance would be as such.
