That is what I dont want happening.
Yes, I want to take your precious from you. Only then, you will value it.
Oliver once said to me that bigger isn't always better. Well, at best, 250x250.
The price should be the same. I want players changing their dwelling pictures once they got bored with the current onces.
But I
do value my precious. Giving them to you is not an issue.
I'm not wanting bigger just for the sake of it. I completely understand the issues with the exterior picture being bigger. Just, if possible, I would like the interior pic to be bigger.
I would also like a bigger av (or rather, different dimensions - say 600x200), but
that is another thread entirely.
If you
want players changing pictures once they get board, then lower the gem price for "renovations".
Statistically speaking, if you lower the entry level price of an item and allow for changes (at a discount) you will "take" a lot more gems in the long run (people would be more likely to buy into the system and then more likely to make changes because it wouldn't be as costly - they would think they were getting a deal).
Bingo! Most players would just click through without waiting for the dwelling pictures to load if they were THAT common & easy to get. Sooner or later, players will stop noticing the dwelling pictures. That's bad!
I agree with you (regarding the sadness) but it will likely get there regardless of precautions taken. Unless it is affordable to change them, which might encourage people to see the new pictures.
By the way, not that this is an option, just -is it POSSIBLE- for the actual dwelling avatars to be purchased with gems and then renovated through Donation Points?
Again, that might not be attractive, but would it be possible?
ETC: I
thought I had my dimensions reversed, but I did not.
