Microphone Help Please
« on: February 02, 2008, 03:58:01 AM »

Alright, I have this microphone which also has an ear piece attached to it.

The problem here is that, when I talk, I can hear my own voice through the ear piece.

Any help as to how to remove that?

The microphone is so you can talk with others.

Well my guess is that whoever you are talking to has the volume on all the way on their icrophone and you are hearing your voice because it is going into where they are suppose to talk, happens to me all the time on X-box live.

Actually, I am testing out the product, so I am not talking to anyone.

While testing it, I am able to hear myself through the ear piece while I am talking into the device.

Well, I haven't tried it out yet since I am having this microphone trouble.

Most likely I will be using it with AIM, or if it works on Pidgin.

did you make sure you put the microphone into the right place? you might have put it into the wrong one

and for programs like AIM, go to settings, enhanced, and choose the one thats installed, that may be what you need to do it make it work

OR check it by -

it should display the options for your sytem's sound settings and audio devices since youre using an XP
