Aburame clan is different. They form a contract with the bugs when they are born so that the bugs will feed off the host's chakra in exchange for control over the bugs. And the only actual jutsu they use is the one where shino uses the jutsu to draw out bugs.

Miha:I'm quite sure someone with your imagination, should be able to figure out that putting forming bugs into a shield or clone is more of bug manipulation than a jutsu. Mushi Dama makes the bug surround the opponent in a sphere like fashin then collapse in and feed off the opponent's chakra. Does that sound like a jutsu?
