the universe IS expanding outwards because all the galaxies and such seem to be moving away from each other slowly over time....

however, doesnt mean that there are multiple universes .-.

For what we perceive as reality is merely conception, for in order to have a universe, there must have been something before that, which would endlessly go farther back and back in time... so time cannot exist! >.>;; Therefore, nothing exists. So I don't have to do my homework.
