I was thinking, The only conceivable way that all academy students could have the same stats, would be if they all had exactly the same childhood. Since that is obviously not the case, how about a more advanced questioning quiz thing, so that new people has a more unique character. I suggest questions about activities and such, where the answers reflect a certain preference:

As a child, you spent your time:
A) Beating up the other kids {Strength}
B)Running from the kids who beat me up {Dexterity}
C)Getting beat up {Constitution}
D) Reading(inside away from any danger) {Intelligence}
E)Convincing other i am not the one to be attacked {Wisdom}

This way, stats are individualized, but to have massive amounts of strength of strength will leave a deficit elsewhere. preventing any overly powerful acads.

An interesting idea to say the least. Mind completing this idea by listing the stat for each choice?

example: By choosing STR, you starting stat would be... 12 Str, 11 dex, 11 con, 8 int, 8 wis.

Sounds like my adapted jutsus that were only introduced for a short time
currently all can do any jutsu and be uber-gods at a certain oro kill level. If it is based on stats, however...

No..it was never stated that they'd be like that. Neji wouldn't super power acads with 10 points like that.

I think we should leave it that way.
People want to be all-powerful with a char, no specialization. <--- see the vote for jutsu customization

So, I don't think this is a good thing.

Would these points be like permanent (stay with you till the end of the DK)? Like instead of it saying 10(10+2) would it just say 12 ?

I liked Neji's jutsu thing...It's more realistic... anyways
There are a few options here...
A) Just add on 5 points to all acads and give them an advantage from now on.
B)Give everybody the 5 extra points, and recalibrate the enemys according to this slight power increase
C)Put it as a stat bonus. so if Person puts all strength their stats might be: Strenght: 10 (+5), Dexterity 10 (-1) and so on

there is little point if I make the enemies harder and also have to life the requirements for the jutsus possibly.

Why not just use those things as a page after stats, like what happens after selecting a specility.

What I mean is simple.

After you kill Oro, and you get the option to add to more stats, and you click something, you get a page saying that.
No further boons.
Just a page with some text.
