Best Labtop
« on: June 07, 2008, 07:32:13 PM »

Ok. So i'm going to college and I'm trying to decide if I should buy a dell or a mac. I thought to myself "where can i find the smart computer nerds" and SL immediately came to mind ;) lol j/k. I guess this is the basic outline of my questions. Any info is appreciated, thanks. btw the mac commercials are winning me over right now, anyone seen them?

1) Do you recommend a Windows or Mac labtop. Which do you believe is better?

2) If you recommend Windows should I get Windows XP or Windows Vista Ultimate?

3) If you do recommend MAC and I get a MAC with 4 GB of memory would you reccomend I get the Windows Parallel program which allows me to install another operating sytem on it? If yes then should I install Windows Vista Ultimate or Windows XP?

It depends on what you want it to do.

By the way, I am not necessarily recommending Vista over XP - but I have had Vista Ultimate running flawlessly for 6+ months.

I do prefer XP Pro however ;p
