You wont really understand the insult if you arent a really religious catholic.
I am catholic myself but im not very religious so i dont really care.
If i grandma saw this(she is a very religious woman and she will not tolerate you if you dont pray before meals and go through the rosary everynight.),she would be very very angry!

In the Catholic faith, we believe that the Eucharist IS the actual body of Christ, and the wine IS His blood.
Like garuga said, if you don't practice the faith, you simply won't understand.

I feel that we should avoid touchy topics such as these in the future. .~.
If you don't want anyone to say anything insulting about your religious beliefs (or lack thereof), then it would be wise not to say anything about anyone else’s. ^.^

Ah, so the guy stole the christ cracker (i know it is technically bread, but it is about the size of a cracker).
I can understand why they'd want it back, but come on.
I live a block away from a store that sells the stuff in bulk.
I used to buy a lot of it when i was an alter boy.
Not like they can't just get more.

well, its obviously a big deal to them if they believe its christ's actual body....

so i guess it is reasonable for them to be upset... but still their demands and reactions are going way too far
