....And I'm off today, because of Gustav.
What's funny is that we got worse weather from Fay, and I had to get out my car and walk through torrential rain with me being knee-deep in water to get to homeroom.
While they wouldn’t let us out of school because of Fay, they are making us stay home today… and it is sunny and the power is working perfectly. xD
Honestly, I think the administrator’s brain s broken. ^.^0

My superintendedent (sp?) is pure evil.He never calls school off but we got 3 snow days yesterday.but once there was a horrible storm and my district was the only one still open.but the next day he got into a car crash so school was closed.

That sucks

If something happens on the Island that doesn't affect Stanwood or the Busride to and from school then we have to go.

Something happened a about two years ago at Elgerbay Elementry that had it shut down a day or two (some water and power problems or something) and they never made it up even though ALL schools are required to have 180 days of school. No more, no less. All it would do was relese them a day later than the rest of the district. No big deal. So what if they are in for an extra day? It isn't like anything happens durring the last week of school =/
