I have to say these were both beautifully written. Although I didn't want Mccain as president and am glad that he lost I have gained a great respect for him after the speech he spoke. As for Obama yet another speech that made me happy that he was picked.

I'm pro-Obama too, but McCain's speech was even better than Obama's... and that's saying something. They both have the right idea, though. Democrats and Republicans need to work together.

Anyone notice that they each wore the color of the opposite party?

I agree I thought Mccain's speech was better. It showed what a true patriot he was and how much he loves America.

Yeah, McCain was very gracious in his speech. As I previously said, he really was a good person, even thought I believed Obama to be the better candidate.
