Well i for one would like to think about the uchiha scroll sasuke found in the basement or something like that...it probably contained uchiha secrets such as the magkyou and the legendary katon ninpou of the uchihas along with the uchiha clan history as it was probably past down from generation to generation to the head uchiha family.
As for the Uchiha clan's story,before shinobi villages were established,nin's used to gather in clans and participate to wars and such,maybe even reciev missions from D to 1-rank(D,C,B,A,S,1)it is know that the uchiha clan and the senju clan of the forest were the most powerful two clans(<---important point for those that claim that Kirigakure would be stronger than Konohagakure,The Hidden Leaf Village was originaly created from the 2 most powerful clans that existed)It is said that the Senju clan and the uchiha clan were originaly fierce enemies cause being the two most powerful clans if two countries were at war and one would hire the Uchihas,the oter would higher Senju.So they probably went trough countless wars and losses before founding the Leaf village together.
(SL)Sadly many of the Uchihas despite konoha if not hate it cause it murdered theyre clan through Uchiha Itachi before they had the chance to start civil war.
