Well, gaming systems are often used as scapegoats when parents are neglectful/abusive of children so it's not hard to imagine.

Well, they are in no way responsible for the disappearance of this child.

It was his decision to run away. Microsoft wasn't a factor in his decision. True, it occurred after the removal of his X-box, but purchasing the console from wherever, and it's use was another's choice.
