they just went to that gate =/

is it possible to remake lotus and make it a bit more broken so we can just bump up to the gate we want? :D

the chakra will still be same cost, example:

gate 1: 2 chakra, gate 2, 1 chakra

2 + 1 = 3, to open 2nd gate it'll be 3 chakra, something like that? o.o

i'm hyper on sugar so i don't want to go into detail, comments? o.o

Well - it was a filler to begin with.

And they might not have jumped the gates, but went through them rapidly.

Why would Guy bother in the battle against Kisame to go through all gates then instead of rapidly activating them?

I have already thought of the idea of a "combat activation" sequence for the Gates.

"Kaimon - Kyuumon - Seimon - Kai" which activates the first threeGates in rapid sequence. However, there has to be some kind of drawback, which I am sure of there is.

However, Hachimon is quite strong currently, so I can't just add another Level to it and grant a combat release, but I have this in mind.

maybe some type of Hp overtime loss?

Modification:

Perhaps once you are exhausted from utilizing the gates in a combat sequence your attack and defense become cut in half for some time and recieve the boon "Lotus Exhaustion" or "Muscle rip".  Maybe 10 rounds? or more?
That way it is only used under certain important circumstances and keeps it somewhat fair.

Maybe the rounds the combat sequence starts, is the amount of rounds the exhaustion lasts?
