I guess it might be water pipe things or whatever.  But Deidara also lost his arm to Gaara.

I thought it could have been that, but then I realized that that would be his left arm, not his right.  I guess I just have to live with the fact that Deidara's mouth hands are dead and they're never coming back  :cry:
