Okay, I'm going to put this question plain and simple...

...Are we allowed to use characters such as ø, ü, Ū, etc. in our user name?

You can when you make a title but I don't think so for a username.

I have tried a very long time ago and it didn't, but I doubt that has changed, I don't seen anyone with those Characters in there Username.

You can. I have tried so before. You'll just have to copy and paste to login every time or use the alt+ code..

If you make a new character, it is possible to my knowledge. I tweaked the game to full UTF-8 (charset) support - and found it a few people registered using UTF-8 names.

In the future, I might separate login names from char names completely (security feature) but this takes a lot of coding to do so.
