The author, Masashi Kishimoto, isn't completely sure yet about the gender of this jinchūriki(Fū, the Seven-Tailed Horned Beetle's holder). However, for the time being she's a girl.

And it makes me wonder if they have something planned for the jinchūriki, like a sidestory or something, since they now decide to reveal them...
