It's AMD. Terrible processors, terrible graphics from my experience. All the ones I've used from them have gone bad. The Intel ones have lasted longer each time. My old laptop still works better than my friend's desktop with an AMD, and my laptop doesn't hold a charge, has less than 1 GB of RAM, and a 40 GB hard drive.

Everyone's like "BUT YOU SPEND ALL YOUR TIME ON THE INTERNET AND HAVE A BAJILLION DOWNLOADS AND STUFF" and I always have to explain to them that it doesn't equate to OS and software knowledge.

I've got a friend that's really into computers, and I spent enough time with him this past year, and I picked up a lot.

He helped me customize my laptop, telling me what processors were really good right now, like my Sandy Bridge, and which ones are bad. He taught me how to bridge the RAM and stuff when expanding it. The only thing he can't do properly is overclock, and code/program.
