Warehouse
« on: June 14, 2010, 10:22:14 PM »

Okay I was thinking about a storage room for items but I was sure this idea came up before and it did here: http://forum.shinobilegends.com/index.php/topic,2293.0.html

Problem was that in order to gain the warehouse (as what I like to call it), we would lose the ability to have unlimited amount of items stored in possession.
I would like to revise this idea.

You have to buy a warehouse and it will cost the same amount as a castle (200 Gems, 200,000 Gold). Once you obtain the warehouse, you lose the ability to hold unlimited amount of items. The warehouse and your character can each only store up to 10 DIFFERENT items (allowing the storage of duplicates, even if the max has been reached). My main concern for this for now is when buying an elixir (or 2). Should it replace one of the items or should it have a section of its own?

200 gems, 200,000 gold
That is soooo underpowered. you should be able to put unlimated items in there.
I say no to this idea

Well, the "unlimited storage" is something I also don't like.

Though, if I limit it, I would have to make a "you find item xyz. it does not fit, do you want to throw something away?" option every time I hand out loot.

The system is relatively primitive on the inside, and such complicated things are also very complicated to program.

Hence I did not limit anything (currently).

A warehouse is in this context superfluous.

If you lower the cost a bit, or give it a weakness I'll agree with it.
Say people could rob it (high chance that they will fail, same with everything)
